As specialist providers of industrial strength bonded ADSL solutions to UK business, we know bonded ADSL inside out. Our Enterprise Management Portal is about empowering our customers, giving them full visibility of the status and performance of their bonded ADSL solution.

Will bonded ADSL give me a better connection to a hosted server?

Bonded ADSL from Evolving Networks gives you a fast, resilient connectivity to the internet. If you have a hosted server then you will be able to access this via the bonded ADSL link at your office.

There is a further benefit that you may want to speak to us about, our hosted virtual servers. As we offer our unique industrial strength bonded ADSL solutions via a private network, we are able to offer secure connectivity to a central datacentre.

As our hosted VMware offering is housed within the same datacentre facility, we deliver our bonded ADSL customers private network access to their hosted server, entirely removing the Internet from the data link.

Of course, your server can still be visible to the internet (if you wish), so that customers or staff can access from wherever they are in the world, but your main office link via bonded ADSL would be entirely private.

You can build a network of offices or remote workers, all accessing the same server via Evolving Networks bonded ADSL and single ADSL links, sharing data through a private cloud infrastructure.

This is secure bonded ADSL unlike anything else in the marketplace, from the leaders in industrial strength bonded ADSL.

Can my Evolving Networks hosted VMware server be accessed via one of your bonded ADSL links?

Yes it can. Our hosted VMware environment is located in our main hosting centre in London’s Docklands. This is the core of our network, meaning that our bonded ADSL links access our central bonding infrastructure in the same location.

Our bonded ADSL links are delivered to end users via a private network in the UK. This means that data is sent from each customer site through our network and presented to the internet via the central bonding infrastructure as a truly bonded single connection.

This private network delivery model allows us to engineer contention out of our bonded ADSL solutions, and to manage the data flow from customer site to central bonding infrastructure, thus ensuring packets arrive at the central infrastructure at the same point, and delivering a truly industrial strength bonded ADSL solution.

As the hosted VMware environment is in the same location, it is accessible both through the internet but also via our private network as well. This means that customers with a bonded ADSL solution from Evolving Networks are able to access their hosted VMware solution without traversing the public internet at all.

So there is no problem with accessing your Evolving Networks hosted VMware solution via one of our bonded ADSL solutions. In fact there is a security and performance enhancement if you do, by virtue of the private network delivery model we operate. But don’t worry, you can equally well access your hosted VMware solution via any internet connectivity from anywhere in the world.

I have a Hosted Exchange environment, will this be a problem if I switch to bonded ADSL from Evolving Networks?

No, a lot of our bonded ADSL customers have hosted Microsoft Exchange either from us or from another provider. When your bonded ADSL solution is delivered, you will be informed of your new public IP address range. You simply need to point your MX record to the new IP address and your email will continue to be delivered as normal.

As the bonded solution presents a single interface to your LAN there are no complications when installing bonded ADSL from Evolving Networks, your firewall only sees one connection rather than multiple links. This means that hosted Exchange solutions and other IP dependant services function with no problems over our bonded ADSL infrastructure.

Can you provide a managed firewall with a bonded ADSL solution?

Yes we can, bonded ADSL solutions from Evolving Networks present a single Ethernet connection to the LAN, with a range of public IP Addresses. If you don’t want to manage your own firewall we can provide a managed firewall option with your bonded ADSL link.

In addition to bonded ADSL, we provide managed VPN solutions to numerous customers, be it point to point data links or multiple site managed networks built on the resilience and speed of bonded ADSL at every site.

However, even if you only have one site we can still supply a pre-configured and fully managed firewall option with your bonded ADSL connection.

Every business is different, with unique requirements, and our experts are on hand to discuss your managed firewall and bonded ADSL options.

Do you provide DNS hosting / management with your bonded ADSL solutions?

With your bonded ADSL or bonded SDSL connections we will provide you with the details you need to connect to the internet, including a public IP address for your firewall and both primary and secondary name servers.

These name servers are located on our private network, meaning they are protected against potential denial of service attacks and the latest DNS phishing scams.

We can also host the DNS for your own website, wherever it is located, and can even move your website into our VMware server cluster, or load balanced web server farm.
