Evolving Networks has a state of the art data centre in the Harbour Exchange facility in London.  This acts as our UK hub, with a mirrored back up data centre facility in Cambridge providing additional resilience and security to all services.  Our private UK backbone connects the two facilities delivering a resilient connection at all times.

Our hosted VMware solution is built on a resilient cluster of servers housed within the data centre, accessible via a standard internet link or a private Evolving Networks bonded broadband or Ethernet connection.

The ability to access the hosted VMware cluster via a private link, with traffic routed through the Evolving Networks core, not the internet, is an important differentiator between us and the competition.  This unique set up allows Evolving Networks to deliver a secure private link to the data centre, which is impervious to security threats.

The VMware cluster delivers scalable, redundant, high availability processing power and storage.  By giving businesses the option of hosting services on instances of VMware, housed within the same data centre as our high availability central bonding cluster, Evolving Networks delivers connection speeds to hosted central services that are second to none.

All VMware services are delived with the protection of redundant Juniper ISG2000 firewalls offering complete security and peace of mind from external internet threats.  This set up also allows home users to securely access the central servers via their own connectivity through the use of a VPN client, without impacting on the performance of links at the main business premises.

The managed central firewall infrastructure allows for VPN links from other sites worldwide, in order that they can connect to the hosted services without with need for additional central hardware.
